was listening to the radio that day and heard something like this-
那天在电台听到了这些：

never a person is gonna walk with you forever,
没有一个人可以永远陪着你,

never a position is gonna hold you high forever,
没有一个权位可以永远让你高高在上,

never a thing is gonna be good forever,
没有一个东西可以永远完好无缺,

so, be contented with what you have now.
所以,我们要知足.

in my opinion, being contented doesn't mean you restrict yourselves from improvement.
对我而言,知足并没有教我们裹足不前,

being contented is to appreciate the present, and achieve higher for the future.
知足教我们珍惜当下,创造未来.
